Washing Machine Blues

My washer started acting funny, then started kicking off and then completely quit working. So my Sweet Hubby decided to fix it and he did. He really did! I was quite impressed. It was my fault, I suppose, although I don't see it that way. It was all of the stuff that they leave in their pockets and yes I could technically avoid this problem. With 6 people in this house do you know how much time I would spend checking pockets though? You would not believe the stuff that came out of that drain but I have proof.


Do you see the little spoon? I have no idea where that came from, I have never seen such a thing before. There are paper clips, drill bits, nails, a ton of change, keys and who knows what some of that stuff is. Lovely isn't it. So now it is up and running again with minimal problems getting it fixed(if you don't count me opening the door -it's a front loader- with water still in it that would be no problems). I knew he was good for something. Just kidding honey. Your good for a lot of things and you know it!!

I almost forgot

Just a few closing thoughts for the day:

I am loving this whole SITS thing. I had no idea there were so many other crazy bloggers out there. Oh the world it has opened up to me. It has left me wondering how many days I can get buy with saying "No housework today". It has made me very envious of some of their swanky designs though and I would love to have a new look from this talented woman. And oh yeah I almost forgot (but not really cause my lovely ones have gotten on my last nerve today)

Being a thief is hard work

Once again we are without a phone. I'm sorry but this is ridiculous, there has to be something they can do. Bury the lines or something!! I think Verizon is about to lose a lot of customers to Suddenlink phone service. In the meantime, I have something to say about this mess.
What is wrong with people? They put all of their time and energy into trying to find a way out of working. Is that not work itself? Would it not be easier to just get a job like the rest of the world? It just doesn't make since to me to work so hard at not working. Not to mention that they are risking jail at the same time. This is just absolutely insane to me. How do they convince themselves that this is normal or even remotely smart? Do me a favor guys just go to work and give the rest of us a break. Preferably before you end up costing someone more than just a little inconvenience because they don't have a phone.
